Myrtle Beach and nearby North Myrtle Beach can whip up lots of fun for holidays.

 

St. Patrick’s Day is no different. The 33rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade And Festival is the center of it all. It’s an all-day celebration awash in green in North Myrtle Beach!

 

It’s the biggest parade on the Grand Strand, with more than 100 entries and lots of history. 

 

Join the revelers on Main Street for a parade that you have to see for yourself. Get there early: The parade will start at 9 a.m., so pick your spot by 8:30.

What You Need to Know About the Parade

  • The parade will follow the same route as last year. It’ll start on Ocean Boulevard and end on Ye Olde Kings Highway.
  • Ed Piotrowski and Jennifer Abney of WPDE-TV will announce the parade. You can see it on CW21.
  • After the parade, head to the festival on Main Street, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

What’s at the Festival?

There will be three stages with live entertainment! Acts include Irish dancers, Irish pipe bands, and more. Check out the wares from more than 120 craft vendors. Plus, leprechauns and other street performers will be everywhere.

Hungry? Vendors and businesses on Main Street will sell festival food and Irish treats.

What You Need to Know About the Festival

  • There will be a children’s area loaded with rides and games.
  • The festival will end at 4 p.m.
  • You can buy souvenir T-shirts the week of the festival. Drop by the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center. These usually sell out!
