In addition to its well-appointed rooms, suites and condos, Grande Cayman’s amenities list is among the most comprehensive in the area. From a 250-foot long lazy river (enclosed and therefore open year-round) to an oceanfront pool deck to the 17,000 square foot Cinzia Spa, families, couples and friend groups alike will find plenty to do on-site at Grande Cayman Resort in addition to all of Myrtle Beach’s attractions.
One of the many events hosted at Grande Cayman Resort throughout the year is a series of Fall Golf Socials, conducted in conjunction with MyrtleBeachGolf.com, one of the top sites for internet-based golf vacation bookings in the Myrtle Beach area.
The series of MyrtleBeachGolf.com Fall Golf Socials takes advantage of the fact that fall is an ideal time to play golf in Myrtle Beach. Many large groups of golfers venture to the area in droves. It can be a challenge to organize a big dinner for everyone, so six years ago, Grande Cayman Resort created an alternative. And so on Tuesdays through November 26, 2013, groups as large as 120 people will gather in Grande Cayman Resort’s third-floor conference center from 6 to 7 p.m.
The events feature complimentary food and beverage (soft drinks and draft beer) catered by Due South at 72nd’s Restaurant and Carrabba’s. Locally-famous “Laid Back Larry” will play music to entertain guests throughout the event. In addition, many area golf professionals, representing their home courses, will typically distribute various door prizes to guests.
It is easy to see how the prospect of staying at Grande Cayman Resort is so appealing to traveling golfers. From the accommodations to the amenities to the Fall Golf Socials, the focus is on the enjoyment of resort guests.
