One of the Grand Strand’s favorite entertainment attractions, Alabama Theatre offers area visitors an evening of singing, dancing, and comedy. Opened by country superstar group Alabama over 20 years ago, Alabama Theatre is a popular attraction bringing visitors from all over to experience the musical variety show. With Iconic, The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, and guest entertainers, Alabama Theatre has something for everyone.

Iconic runs weeknights from February through October, offering a vibrant and uplifting musical variety show. The show, which debuted in February 2023, features cutting edge visuals and sound and brings top hits from Country, Broadway, Pop, and Classic Rock to life. Starting in November and running through the end of December, Alabama Theatre turns into a winter wonderland with The South’s Grandest Christmas Show. The whole cast brings the true spirit of Christmas to light with a combination of classic Christmas songs, contemporary holiday songs, an incredible light and sound show, holiday scenery and more. Also featured in this year’s show will be our new Comedic Juggler Slim Chance who will put a new twist on the Christmas season.

The Alabama Theatre also books top entertainers throughout the year. On the weekends, stars like The Oak Ridge Boys and Three Dog Night along with tribute artists to greats like the Beatles and Bee Gees entertain and delight Alabama Theatre’s audience. The theatre accommodates those with sight, hearing, or mobility disabilities, inquire about hearing devices or special seating.
